We plan several dual type litters each year. Our puppies are expected to be great field trial and show prospects for competition homes. We also are glad to have our dogs go to active hunter/companion homes, too. We have the philosophy of being very selective of the dogs we keep for our breeding program. We have spared no expense in seeking out the best stud dogs across North America. Everything we do in our breeding program is for a reason, and that is to try to keep the breed a strong bird dog at the same time breeding for proper breed type. We strongly support the dual concept that the Brittany breed is known for. All of our breeding dogs are OFA certified or PennHip certified. Our brood bitches all have field trial wins or placements, as well as a conformation championship.

We nominate all our litters in the American Brittany Club futurities. All puppies are individually Canadian Kennel Club registered, microchipped, guaranteed in writing against hip and hereditary health defects, and come with a 4 generation pedigree, their first vaccinations, vet exam, dewormed, tails docked, and dewclaws removed. The puppies are handled and well socialized by the time they are ready to leave. We have much experience shipping in the United States and Canada and can fly them to their new homes at 8 plus weeks of age. If shipping is required, the new owner is responsible for the cost. All of this, and our puppies are very reasonably priced for top American and Canadian field and show (dual) breeding. We do have waiting lists for our puppies, so if you are interested, you must place a reservation in advance and prepare to wait until we have the right puppy for you.

Puppies born May 23, 4 males and 3 females.

FC/AFC Kid's Royal Casey
(NAFC/DC/AFC Renegade's Kansas Kid x FC/AFC Kid's Little Ann)
OFA good

Ch. Kinwashkly Charming Wee Ms. D
(DC/AFC Kinwashkly Wee Johnnie D, F.D. x Ch. Kinwashkly French Blaze)
OFA excellent
This breeding brings back some great bloodlines from long ago through Casey, a frozen semen son of Hall of Famer Renegade's Kansas Kid. These puppies should be great little bird dogs. Casey has a good record of gun dog wins as well as winning the ABC central all age futurity in 2018. Ms. D is a hard hustling bird finding machine. Both have produced winning pups in limited breedings. Should be white and orange puppies.

Ryder won the 2022 National Amateur Walking Gun Dog championship with his owner, Theresa Richmond and has 80 AKC wins and placements in his long career. Ryder is known for his bird sense, great nose and style on point. Gal is a big running, stylish bitch who has produced some mighty fine puppies for us. We expect some hard hunting good looking puppies from this cross.

one of our current brood bitches:
Ch.Kinwashkly Buffalo Gal

Whelped: March 16, 2019 | OFA: OFA excellent
Gal is sired by 2XNGDC/DC/GFC/AFC Hope's Chief of Cross Creek out of Ch. Kinwashkly Single White Female

Although Gal has been unable to do much in field trials and shows since all shows and field trials in western Canada disappeared with the pandemic, she does have a puppy placement from the fall of 2019 when she was 6 months old. She was Best Baby puppy at the Canadian national specialty when she was 4 months old and also was best opposite sex in sweepstakes. She is a leggy beauty with a high tail carriage and the sweetest personality. In the field she is a wide running, stylish pointing dog. Gal finished her show championship in July 2022, despite her disgust with the dog show game. Gal has proven herself as the dam of winners, with her son Fergus a Ch./FDJ with 4 group placements and a derby 2nd, and daughter Daisy with puppy points and other placements at field trials, and her sons Prince and Timber, FDA, WDJ- from her second litter. Her third litter is the largest we have ever had with 14 puppies!
one of our current brood bitches:
Ch. Kinwashkly By A Mudslide

Whelped: December 9, 2019 | OFA: OFA good
Mudslide is sired by DC/AFC Kinwashkly Tempo out of GCh. Wild Mountain Masterpiece, J.H.

Mudslide is our wonderful young liver and white female. She is a consistently good running, bird finding competitive field trial dog who also happens to love being in the show ring. She is an athletic front running dog that handles well. Due to Covid and lack of field trials, she had to go to the States to prove herself with handler Ed Tillson. She had 4 placements in large derby stakes during the month of October before returning home. She is a well built and high energy girl, very outgoing and sweet in nature. We think she will add much to our breeding program besides the ability to add a little colour to our program. Her first litter sired by DC/GFC Almaden's Under Lock and Key has produced a show pointed puppy three with field trial placements and a Futurity placer, another puppy with field placements, a FDJ, and a daughter who won ABC Western gun dog futurity, and a 3rd puppy with field placements, as well as some excellent hunting dogs. Her second litter produced a young FDJ son, a daughter with a Best Baby puppy in show, and another daughter with puppy points and placements.
one of our current brood bitches:
Ch. Kinwashkly Charming Wee Ms. D

Whelped: June 6, 2020 | OFA: OFA excellent
Ms D is sired by DC Kinwashkly Wee Johnny D, FD out of Ch. Kinwashkly French Blaze

Ms. D has field trial placements despite being born during covid shut downs and very few opportunities. She has 2 legs in 2 attempts to her Field Dog Junior title. She has brains and bird sense and a nose to die for. As well she is an attractive typey short bodied little beauty. Her show title took two weeks in good competition to complete. Ms.D's striking good looks and talent plus her bold temperament have made her a valuable addition to our breeding program. She had her first litter of very good looking puppies in September 2023. Her son, Duke has puppy placements and show points, her other son, Howie has show points and a leg to his Rally title. A daughter has won 2 puppy stakes, with other puppy and derby placements, and another daughter has a puppy placement.
