We plan several dual type litters each year. Our puppies are expected to be great field trial and show prospects for competition homes. We also are glad to have our dogs go to active hunter/companion homes, too. We have the philosophy of being very selective of the dogs we keep for our breeding program. We have spared no expense in seeking out the best stud dogs across North America. Everything we do in our breeding program is for a reason, and that is to try to keep the breed a strong bird dog at the same time breeding for proper breed type. We strongly support the dual concept that the Brittany breed is known for. All of our breeding dogs are OFA certified or PennHip certified. Our brood bitches all have field trial wins or placements, as well as a conformation championship.

We nominate all our litters in the American Brittany Club futurities. All puppies are individually Canadian Kennel Club registered, tattooed, guaranteed in writing against hip and hereditary health defects, and come with a 4 generation pedigree, their first vaccinations, vet exam, dewormed, tails docked, and dewclaws removed. The puppies are handled and well socialized by the time they are ready to leave. We have much experience shipping in the United States and Canada and can fly them to their new homes at 8 plus weeks of age. If shipping is required, the new owner is responsible for the cost. All of this, and our puppies are very reasonably priced for top American and Canadian field and show (dual) breeding. We do have waiting lists for our puppies, so if you are interested, you must place a reservation in advance and prepare to wait until we have the right puppy for you.

A litter of futurity nominated dual prospects coming late in the year. Louie finished the requirements for his dual championship in the spring of 2019 with two major wins at the Michigan Brittany Club. Louie was 2nd in the ABC central all age futurity in 2015. He is an attractive typey male that is all bird dog. This is his first litter. Francis has a very good record in juvenile trials and with adult wins in both USA and Canada, is in easy reach of field championship status in both countries. She won the 2016 ABC Central All Age Futurity in Colorado, and is the dam of the 2018 ABC Western Gun Dog and Dual award winner. She has produced field and show winners in all her litters and is a good producer of birdy trainable puppies. This litter should be suitable for field trial competition, upland bird hunting, show, and family companions.

one of our current brood bitches:
Ch. Kinwashkly Instant Replay

Whelped: June 24, 2013 | OFA: BS-17010E24F-VPI (Excellent)
Replay is sired by Am.& Can. Dual Ch. Kinwashkly Dirty Ned Pepper out of Ch. Kinwashkly Silver Charm

Replay has been a valuable addition to the breeding program. She is an all age range, extremely independent bitch with a great nose, smart with good pattern and stamina. Replay has displayed good retrieving instinct. Replay has won her puppy points and derby points, and many placements in CKC trials. She also has several AKC juvenile placements, and won the New England Derby Classic (American Field stake, many miles from home.) We hope that one day Replay will be a dual champion. She completed her show championship easily with a group placement on the way. She is a small, streamlined dog with good reach and drive and a solid topline. She has an outgoing temperament, is smart and wants to learn. Replay has produced small litters and is the dam of Ch. Madonna (number 2# puppy in CKC field trials for 2018), field winners Instant Rum Pudding and Whatabirder Flyboy. Most of her puppies have gone to hunters who are very happy with their strong natural instincts.

"Francis" is sired by DC Kinwashkly Tempo out of Ch. Kinwashkly Silver Charm

Francis is the complete package of what we want in a field trial dog. She has range, speed, bird sense, style, purpose, pattern and handles like a dream at all times and is very consistent. She has AKC and CKC puppy and derby points and placements, culminating in winning the ABC Central All Age futurity. She is a small, well built dog who recently finished her show championship. Her show career took longer than expected due to injuries to the handler. I ended up finishing her myself 13 hours after having surgery to repair my dislocated elbow. We do plan to finish Francis as a dual champion, she is halfway to her field championship in both the US and Canada with adult wins. Francis has been a very successful producer of dual quality puppies. From her first litter, Kinwashkly Timberline Kess won the 2018 ABC Western Gun Dog futurity as well as the dual award and is now only 2 points from her Field Championship, as well as show pointed. All the other female puppies in that litter have puppy and/or derby points, Silver Velour, Rusty Ridge Justified, and Stuck In Lodi. Her second litter produced Ch. Kinwashkly JD's Dream Came True, Kinwashkly Surprise 4 Sigbrits(puppy points) and Kinwashkly Gugin's Super Fruit,J.H.(derby points). Her third litter produced Kinwashkly Buffalo Gal, Best Baby Puppy at our national specialty.
one of our current brood bitches:
Ch. Kinwashkly French Blaze

Whelped: July 14, 2017 | OFA: OFA certified good
Blaze is sired by NFC/FC/AFC Roustabout's Flat Out out of Ch. Kinwashkly Defiant Diefenbaker

Blaze is one of the few daughters of 2016 National Field champion Roustabout's Flat Out who sadly died in the prime of his life only months after winning the National championship as well as the 2016 ABC Quail Classic. Out of our favourite bitch, Diefenbaker, Blaze combines the pedigrees of several top winning field and dual bloodlines. Blaze herself possesses speed, drive, high style on point, a far better than average nose, and is obsessed with finding birds. Blaze has puppy points and puppy and derby placements in CKC trials. She completed a show championship easily. She is a small, attractive deep orange and white bitch with a beautiful smooth coat. We are looking forward to seeing what she produces with a first litter planned for early in 2020 to be sired by DC Kinwashkly Wee Johnny D.
